Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of Fontee and this website. Fontee was created by Anton Timofeev (the Service Provider) as a commercial service. If you downloaded Fontee from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless a separate EULA is provided in App Store Connect. These terms supplement that Apple agreement and do not replace any rights that cannot be limited by law.

Using Fontee

Fontee lets you edit photos and video backgrounds with text, fonts, stickers, templates, visual effects and export tools. You are responsible for the media, text, fonts and other content you import, create, export or share, and you must have the rights needed for your intended use.

Your content and exports

You keep ownership of your own photos, videos, text, imported fonts and other content that you bring into Fontee. Fontee does not claim ownership of your exported images or videos.

Subject to these terms, any active subscription requirements and applicable third-party licenses, you may use images and videos exported from Fontee for personal or commercial purposes. You remain responsible for making sure your use complies with applicable law and with any font, stock-media, image, music, trademark, publicity, privacy or other third-party rights that apply to the content in your export.

Fonts, templates and app assets

Fontee includes fonts, stickers, templates, effects, software, interface elements and asset catalogs owned by the Service Provider or licensed from third parties. Fontee grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use those in-app assets inside Fontee to create and export images or videos.

This license does not allow you to extract, copy, resell, sublicense, upload, share, reverse engineer or make available Fontee's proprietary software, templates, stickers, effects, catalogs or asset packaging as standalone files, asset packs, templates, competing services or downloadable resources.

Open-source fonts included in Fontee remain licensed under their own terms, such as the SIL Open Font License, and those licenses may give you additional rights to the underlying font software. The restrictions in this section apply to Fontee's own app, proprietary assets, catalog, packaging and non-open-source materials, and do not limit rights you separately have under open-source licenses or rights that cannot be excluded by law.

If you import a custom font into Fontee, you are responsible for confirming that the font license allows your intended use, including import into the app, rendering in projects, export, sharing and commercial use where applicable. Fontee does not grant you rights to imported fonts that you do not already have.

Fontee Pro subscriptions

Fontee may offer Fontee Pro as auto-renewable subscriptions, including weekly and yearly plans. A weekly plan may include a free trial where available. Current prices, periods, trial availability and included features are shown in the app before purchase and can vary by country or region.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. A free trial, if offered, converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. Cancellation stops future renewal, and access normally continues until the end of the current billing period unless Apple's policies say otherwise. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings. Apple handles App Store billing, refunds, taxes, currencies and cancellation mechanics.

Premium features

Fontee Pro can unlock premium fonts, text effects, stickers, templates, user font import, Remove Background, transparent PNG preservation and export actions for projects using premium assets. Available features may change as the app evolves.

Stock media and third-party services

When you use stock background search, results may come from providers such as Pixabay, Pexels or Unsplash. Their own licenses, attribution rules and terms can apply to provider content. Fontee does not grant you broader rights to third-party stock media, fonts or assets than the applicable provider or rightsholder grants.

Some third-party content may require attribution, may have restrictions for commercial or editorial use, or may require model, property, trademark or other permissions depending on your intended use. You are responsible for checking the specific license and rights for your export.

Acceptable use

Availability and warranties

Fontee is provided as available. We work to keep the app reliable, but features, catalogs, providers and online services can change, pause or fail. To the extent allowed by law, Fontee is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Termination

The Service Provider may suspend or stop providing Fontee, online services or particular features if required by law, provider rules, security needs or a violation of these terms. If your right to use Fontee ends, you must stop using the app and any access to paid online features, except for exported content you already created in compliance with these terms and applicable third-party licenses.

Changes to these terms

The Service Provider may update these terms when Fontee features, subscriptions, service providers or legal requirements change. The updated page will show a new last updated date. Continued use of Fontee after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
